LA BIBLIOTHÈQUE DES JEUNES DE MONTRÉAL Succursale Jean Rivard Wednesday, October 4, 2007 Carole Jean Tremblay was invited to meet with second graders from École Bienville. While students took turns showing the illustrations, Carole read from her book “Po-Paul et la pizza toute garnie ”. Afterwards, the students drew a picture of their favorite pizza- pepperoni, cheese, worms...
|  | Blue Met 11th Blue Metropolis Montreal International Literary Festival April 22-26, 2009 and the 2nd Blue Metropolis Children's Festival
On Saturday, April 25, 2009, Carole helped “man” the Canscaip-Québec table at the Blue Met from 11am to 1pm. She enjoyed talking with festival attendees and fellow Canscaip-Quebec writers about children's books.
Blue Metropolis Foundation is a Montreal-based non-profit organization dedicated to bringing people from different cultures together to share the pleasure of reading and writing. It organizes innovative activities that give diverse audiences direct access to various modes of literary expression of the highest calibre.
|  | Naples Writers Association Naples, Florida On Saturday, December 6, 2008, Carole Jean Tremblay was invited to speak to the Naples Writers' Association about her experiences in writing and publishing. She began by showing a comic strip that appeared in the local paper showing Santa Claus and his elves knocked completely unconscious, and a boy walking away saying .“Geesh! All I did was ask for a book!” Don't we wish that's what all kids would ask Santa for! Carole presented her activity books for teaching English as a second language, which kicked off her writing carreer. She explained the origin of Cybercash, her political novel, and then talked about her children's books, those both in English and French. Carole was delighted to meet and exchange with the writers and the illustrator who attended the meeting. She wishes much creative pleasure and success in publishing to her new-found colleagues.

Carole Jean Tremblay participated in the summer activities at the Jean Rivard branch of the Montreal Children's Library on July 29, 2008.
Carole read her children's novel “ Po-Paul et le nid-de-poule”. Children attending were encouraged to participate in identifying the characters in Po-Paul's adventure by pinning cut-outs on a bulletin board covered in black paper.
